It Is Working!

One of the most important things we learn in MKMMA is to formulate explicitly what we want more of in our life. Everybody knows that 95 persons out of 100 are NOT able to make a simple and straightforward answer to that question « What would you like more of in your life ? » That is why very few people are really living a purposeful and happy life…until they choose (consciously or not) to find a purposeful answer to that question. To make it clear, « I want more money and/or more time » is not a sufficient answer to that question, because time and money are commodities that are available in exact same quantities to every person on earth. The huge differences that exist between individuals come from the huge differences in beliefs regarding what life is supposed to be, how we are supposed to live it, what we deserve in life, etc. That is why properly answering that question « What would I like more of in my life ? » is so critical. When I discovered the MKMMA training in 2013, my skills in that key task quickly improved. And not surprisingly, I observed in the same time significant changes in my life. Here are just two examples of things I wanted more in my life and which manifested quickly once I had made it clear : – in October 2013 I wrote : « I travel with all my family before the 15th of November 2014, and I am overjoyed to be with my wife Françoise, my children and grand-children in an exotic place full of beauty and warmth. » From the 30th of October 2014 to...

Summer 2015 – We Don’t Need All These Labels!

Today, I found a message in my Facebook praising the superiority of the USDA control organisation on other organisations in the area of meat sales regulations, meaning that the rights of the consumers are better protected by USDA. This triggered again my anger towards this crazy habit of regulating and controling for the sake of « better protecting the consumer. » Nonsense and B.S. all together! Let me illustrate with a short true story: I am living in Drome, a French department where nature is still well preserved…3 years ago, a group of dynamic farmers growing their vegetables without chemicals decided to open a collective shop to sell their production directly to the final consumer. We could thus buy their excellent vegetables for the same price as in the Supermarket, and I decided from there on to pass the supermarket and make the extra mile to buy from these farmers. I was happy, not only because I had excellent food on my table, but also because I really had the feeling to collaborate to a good cause… Then, after a year or two came some « experts » who told the nice and dedicated farmers that they should get a label to prove that their products were organic (which everybody knew already, from their aspect, the energy they emanated and their excellent taste). By the time the farmers got their organic labels, the price tag of all their vegetables had increased by 30% or more, with no other added value than the labels themselves…And this is not the end of the story! A few months later, I received in my mailbox a beautiful...

The Learning Trap

Last Sunday night was a new webinar session of the « MKMMA Certified Guides » training, for the September coming MKMMA six month course. It was about how to handle, as a Guide, the input material of the members from their first week, so that they receive outstanding and above expectation support. I was a member of the MKMMA training two years ago, and I was a certified guide last year. When I discovered the topic of this Sunday night training session, my first thought was « ok, I know that. » Now, everybody knows that this thought « ok, I know that » is a learning trap, literally a sentence of death for his/her own progress, because it automatically closes the mind to listen to anything which follows, even if « life critical» information are dispatched ! So as my subconscious mind had already switched on the red light and the warning horn since several minutes, shaking me like a plum tree to get my attention back on the screen and speakers of my PC, I discovered that Dayna, the MKMMA staff Chief Organizer, was asking us to make a « real time » exercise by sending her a simulated member information from a specific software tool. Actually, the goal was to check that we, as guides, had a correct knowledge of that tool. During the last MKMMA session, which ended last March, I had repeated more than 100 times the same 10 seconds operation that Dayna was asking us to execute here. When I heard Dayna giving us 5 minutes to do the job, I thought « easy-peasy, let’s do it quickly then enjoy my favorite drink on...
